How to configure an SPF record to increase the probability of delivery of a tracking email?
In order to increase the likelihood of delivery of tracking emails sent from our servers, we recommend that our customers include an SPF record in their domain’s DNS. If necessary, you should ask your (web) hosting provider for assistance.
An SPF record is a DNS entry that identifies the mail servers that are allowed to send email on behalf of a domain.
The great advantage of an SPF record is that it can prevent messages that we send on behalf of our customer from being mistakenly marked as spam. The customer indicates that our servers have permission to send email on their behalf.
How to add an SPF to your domain?
If your domain’s DNS details do not yet have an SPF record, you must add a record (of type TXT) with the following value
v=spf1 mx a ip4:95.128.5.141/32 include:mail.pakketmail.nl ~all
If you already have an SPF present
If you already have an SPF record, you must add the following line to the record:
include:mail.pakketmail.nl
